Some very tiny food items. I didn't see them open their beaks while they were probing in the muck at the pond's edge. |

There were Snipe at this pond as well. I've never seen one of those in flight. |

Great in flight capture. Nice markings, especially the upper rump and pale secondaries... unique to dowitchers. Would be rare in Colorado. We have Wilson's Snipe which are somewhat similar. |
