For this challenge, does a "WWYT?" comment mean Where Were Your Toes?

I think there is a lot to live up to for this challenge. Will any of the winners achieve the simplicity and emotional impact of this superb image by Frisca?

It reminds me of a great quote from Lost in Translation. Paraphrased, "Every girl goes through a photography phase, you know? Like unicorns. You take all these stupid pictures of your feet."

My stupid pictures of my feet:

and one I'm particularily fond of:

Question. Can the feet be in shoes that cover up the skin like tennis shoes or those flipper things for swimming or do we have to show the actual skin and bones feet? Thanks. I have my idea but need to know how far to go with it.

And another. Do they have to be human feet?

I doubt anyone can answer this definitively and even the opinion of the person who wrote the challenge description is irrelevant.

It's all down to what the voters feel and whether they like the shot/ feel it's acceptable for the challenge.

And even with a few of us posting here it's always hard to predict that reaction!

Personally I think showing some of the foot itself would be better than showing socks, shoes or other things designed to go ON feet.

Also I'm sure there will be many non-human feet...

A picture with feet. Be creative and original.

I'm sure this allows for some interpretation such as non-human feet or non-bare feet.

Better be safe. Off with the shoes!

I'll knock off 1/2 pt. for feet covered in socks, a whole pt. for shoes AND socks. But I also want five toes. And I don't want to see any of those toes next to the fat one being LONGER than that one (that REALLY drives me up a wall).

...Oh, and another thing - absolutely NO red polish on guys' toes.

ok?

Exactly, the challenge description doesn't restrict it so personally I read that as being open - human feet, duck feet, sheep feet...

As long as there's more than one (it being FEET not FOOT).

BUT what I suspect is that voters (taken as a whole) will respond better to nekkid (or partially nekkid) human feet than they will to kitten and dog paws and insect legs.
