Shot taken of my Irish Dancing Daughter. Honours St. Patricks Day March 17. Some editing in photo shop includes:
Cropping, resizing, spot edit of shadows behind the eggs. Applied neat image(not sure if it made much difference as the shot did not appear very noisey.
Thanks to Carlee for again putting up with my crazy ideas!

Really like this one and others in your portfolio -- always a creative take on the themes. Thanks for posting the two "how I did this" shots.

A very unique concept for a very unique image. The tones in this one are terrific. One of my favorites.

Interesting and eye catching. Well done interpretation of the challenge. I feel this is the best picture of the challenge because it is clever, original and different that the others. 10

Great shot. Nice soft focus, works well in b/w. The right egg is tilted a little bit. 8

This looks like such a hard shot to compose. I gave it a 10. I really like the balance - literally, artistically and metaphorically. Good luck!

Creative choice. I love this, though I do wonder how those eggs aren't cracking. Well done. I like the choice of black and white as well.

Creative take on the challenge. B&W works really well with it. 8

Good luck...

Cool idea. What was your model hanging on to?

This can't be real. :) Although eggs are very strong (relatively speaking) when positioned like that. Very good idea and nicely done. Could be a tad bit lighter so the eggs are a little whiter. Maybe not, the socks are good.

Very cool. I laughed when I saw this at first. Then looked at it some more and really wondered about it. I like the placment of everything and think its a great idea on this challenge topic. The only thing that I found distracting is the blown out part of the eggs. This could be my monitor (laptop) so I give it a 6 anyway. Nice shot.

Very good photo and you made the right decision to use b&w rather than colour for this. Lighting is good and the idea is original

excellent use of b&w, good twist on the design idea, perhaps only I would notice as I'm a former ballet dancer but those have to be the oddest toe shoes ever! ;) Something about the shim (or whatever you used for the wood) seems off to me maybe because it lacks symetry? not sure. As is - well done

lol, inventive, creative, amazing idea. I think it needs a hair more contrast, but other then that minor observation....it's very good. I hope you do well.

Very clever. Like to know how you did it?? Like it a lot.

This is very nice! The only things that distract me are the wall space I see between the boards and the table. A higher point of view would have eliminated that. And the reflections from the eggs. 8

Nice use of black and white. Just a touch more contrast, in my opinion. Let me guess, this is upside down from the original!? BOL

the whites are blown making this a bit too flat, or too much middle grey. The uneven line just below the wood isdistracting,.. perhaps the same color of floor and wall would have been very useful. The 'perfect' eggs, with a great stanse.. and then an old shingle.. don't really fit together i don't think... i would like a nice piece of wood that isn't distracting... that sort of disappers... i like the idea though. good start
