I very nearly entered this one in the bokeh challenge, but at the last minute I decided it was terribly DNMC and didn't enter anything. Technically it leaves a lot to be desired but I found the ant behaviour really interesting and couldn't resist showing it somewhere. |

Lots going on here at home, and haven't been able to DPC much at all. Launch was scrubbed, but we had a good time watching and playing with the photo equipment. This was shot with my new glass, a Meade 2,500 mm f10 scope. The heat waves over the miles of water made it look like the shuttle was dancing on the pad. Launch has been delayed a while, so, just maybe, if I can get everything to go right, I will be back for the actual launch. We arrived on location at just after dark, so we could get a good location. We stayed up until 5 AM, slept in the Jeep for about an hour, then started our day. The launch was scrubbed at about 10 AM.
