I left my d100 running with the lens cap on for about 24 hours. Should I be worried?

Only if you were taking important pictures in those 24 hours...

how was it running for 24 hours? plugged into the wall?

i dont think you should be worried , only battery will drain ,
ha ha , its an slr , so dont worry about shooting with lens cap on :)

It probalby turned itself off if you have the auto-off set. I'm only assuming that the D100 has that feature, but the Canons do. It probably powered back up when you took the camera out of the bag. It's unlikely that your battery would have lasted for 24 hours of continuous on time.

It was more like 12 hours. I was at a party and forgot to turn it off before I passed out. Glad to hear its nothing though. Thanks guys!
