 RKT and I will run a side challenge in November devoted to creating square-crop photos (i.e., square aspect ratio, 1:1 crop, etc.). This is an opportunity to devote a month of picture-taking to thinking about and visualizing square compositions in your photography.
The rules are simple: Make It Square! Don't care what lens you use (or go lensless), what camera, what photographic or editing techniques, whether you plan your square image at the point of taking the picture or discover it later in post. Share an image every day, or a few times a week, or a bunch in one go - all completely your choice. We welcome any level of participation. Show us your square pics!
If you are interested in joining in, please comment here and I'll add your name to this initial post so we have a running list of participants. On November 1, I will create a side challenge thread specifically for posting your creations, and will message everyone listed as a participant that we've started (and link to it in this thread, too). Latecomers are also welcome to join in at any point during November.
