Congratulations to the USA for recognizing the fact that the LGBT was being discriminated against.
To those still opposed, I am certain that in time this will become a non issue since it will have no bearing on your personal live.

From Dallas-Fort Worth's NBC affiliate, and I do apologize but there is an ad that will run first. Note that the volume of the clip is louder than that of the ad, too. But really sweet. You'll also note (if you read the text) the official is a member of their church who had a vacation day and went to the courthouse to volunteer her time. |

I will have to assume that the peoples of the USA must be right different than those in Canada then. We have had same sex marriages in this country for over 10 years and that has had no negatuve impact on anyone`s life.
Do take the time to list all of the negative things you think will occur as a result of this decision.
I`m certain many of us would find that entertaining.

They were all going to move up here when the Affordable Health Care Act passed as well. Lot's of people are going to be disappointed.

David Ey, if things go as they usually do when someone paints himself into a corner, I predict you will NOT return to deliver for us all the negative things that will happen now that the US really does have equal rights for all rather than just saying so.
But, for grins and because you brought it up, and because I know you're more courageous than most, I look forward to your list of all negative things in our can of worms that will befall us because we have marriage equality. Go.

You haven't made a specific point, so I don't know if your issue is with the SC or simply the preservation of inequality, but the state I live in has allowed same-sex marriage for more than a decade. Not one negative thing has been attributed to it. |

No, we won't. We've already waited 7 years for a list of the Bad Thingsâ„¢ that will supposedly befall us, and we're still waiting. The predictions of bigots who can't even articulate a specific harm are the fortune cookies of hatred: vague pronouncements in search of an eventual match, and if a tornado hits a Starbucks somewhere in Dallas, that'll be the proof of our regret.
