		Dave Matthews Band--2003
 Duran Duran--1994
 Michael Bolton--1992
New Kids On the Block (how sad, how sad)--1990

Too many local indie bands to count. Other than that, been so deprived.

Listen My children have seen more than most of YOU!

I am 62 years old and a Nashville native all of my life except for a time in Hawaii at the end of the war.

Now I could start with my first, which would be Janis Joplin in Knoxville and was the only time I saw ANYONE drink a 1/5 of liquor onstage and get better! YES Southern Comfort.

I mean HUNDREDS, it is my wife of 42 years and my HOBBY! YES we have all the stUbs and they have been seen by at least one Former Vice-President!

So instead of that list let me list the best years and the last ones seen so far with my grandson!

1972 ROLLING STONES Dragon stage with the counterfeit ticket fiasco.
1972 LED ZEPPELIN ATLANTA (of course the windowpane I was on kinda --well enhanced the show?!!!)

 1977 THE EAGLES
1977 FLEETWOOD MAC THE week RUMORS goes number one!

GARTH BROOKS THE YOUNG ONE oh no my family said no we ain't going to see no country crap, but I said--I smell something about this guy? well they have seen him since twice but not as good as that one I saw!!!

NOVEMBER 8TH 1979 THE EAGLES 2ND ROW THE LONG RUN Its a long juicy story at the after party!

 1984 BRUUUUCE 1st time

Paul 2 times and oh hell just anyone

SO in the last 2 or no more than 10 years

Last was NICKELBACK ---WHO BTW drank the most onstage ever since I saw Janis! Oh hell yes I HATE NICKELBACK!!! I HATE EVERY DAMN NO GOOD MINUTE I AM NOT WITH NICKELBACK TO BE EXACT! ok OKOKOK I WILL SEE THEM AGAIN!

THE STONES NEXT ON JUNE 17TH

BEFORE NICKELBACK WAS LINDSAY STERLING, FLEETWOOD MAC--SHINEDOWN, OH OH NEXT IS PARAMORE BEFORE THE STONES OOPS THEY LIVE HERE TOO! 3 DOORS DOWN--THEORY OF A DEADMAN.

BON JOVI 5 TIMES AND I WILL GO SEE BON JOVI ANYTIME ANYWHERE OVER ANYONE I HAVE EVER SEEN---OH HELL YES I WILL!

So the real question is who is it that I missed seeing and would go see over Bon Jovi or anyone because I want to see them very bad

AC/DC--AC/DC---AC/DC-- oh i missed them as punishment from the rock and roll gods one year and it HURT TOO!!!

 LIVE EARTH 7/7/07 COUNT?

LISTEN I DID US ALL A FAVOR BY NOT LISTING ALL OF THEM OK!

1 thing I mean to do is not get stuck in the 60's 70's or any year.

I loved Shinedown, Nback, there are plenty of new acts i will see and the good LORD willing i will die at a concert. |

		Welcome to DPC blueraider

I see you found one of the older threads that probably needs to be updated with some fresh music names.

I've seen a few concerts too, starting in the 60's with Chuck Berry & the Strawberry Alarm Clock, then on to Deep Purple ect.

Most concerts I've seen are related to the seventies and early eighties:
 Genesis
 Marillion
 Phil Collins
 Pink Floyd

The concerts I attend to nowadays are concerts of The Musical Box, a Genesis tribute band, playing the early seventh concerts of Genesis: Selling England by the Pound, The Lamb lies down on Broadway and Trick of the Tail. |

I have seen every good band that came through NY in the 80's & 90's but now I would much rather
chill with some friends at the local bars and see the local bands.
