:)

I did have a tufted titmouse on my feeder a couple of years ago but the photo I took in a panicked state was too blurry to be recognizable.

PS: I am getting better at this. Just spent 20 minutes with my new Peterson's guide trying to ID a bird. Was a female Red-winged Blackbird, which of course is neither black or red-winged!

The female Red Wing Blackbird used to get me all the time... would start looking through the finches and sparrows only to confuse myself more.

This is all I got this past week. For the first time in three weeks, I didn't take my camera while walking my dog, and of course I saw two Blue Jays in a tree along the way.

- I'm guessing that this is a hybrid duck, a cross between a Domestic White Pekin and a Mallard that live on the same pond. If someone can otherwise identify, please do so.

I'll be heading south to Charleston, SC this weekend. Hopefully I'll get some new and different birds down there. I will be visiting the Magnolia Plantation & Gardens and doing their Audubon Swamp Garden Walk, so I should get something there.

Swartkopwielewaal:

Just kidding about the B&W. Making a sort of posthumous ribbons bird.

If possible, I'd like to be a very late joiner. I'll get what shots I've managed in the latter half uploaded shortly. I figure I've thought about joining for long enough, might as well take the plunge :)
