I had to replace my entry because it was the wrong date. This project is showing me the shortcomings of my archiving system. (Another entry is a couple of days off but it's going to stand.)

Day 14 - Blair Playing A Weissenborn Resonator
Back to real photos again.
My friend Blair plays guitar, really well, except he enjoys playing variations which aren't popular. So he got a custom made solid brass Weissenborn reasonator. The linked guitar was the one sent to him from New Zealand, unfortunately the guy who built the guitar isn't well versed in playing this style.
This is photo of him playing in some poorly lit bar in Toronto. Every time I head out with him, I have to push the limits of my camera to take a photo in these places.

Not much to choose from here, we had a wind storm that knocked power out for almost a week, my friends visited from out of town and I got in a slump. Nothing to post for tomorrow :( This is my dads old baseball glove from when he played (over 50 years ago) and he had it repaired and wanted a photo of it. |

Day 14 - June 17, 2012
This is one of the shots I took while out shooting for the Abandoned II Challenge.
Here, I started learning a bit more about composition in landscape photography with my Dad as my teacher. He helped me set up this shot showing me the angle on the building and filling me in on the use of the line of the road.
I should have used this one instead of my entry (below), but my entry was really my own vision and I suffered for it!! LOL!

In June I was shooting just to get captures that might be fun to play with.
This is a garlic skin on a shiny curved surface.
Every time I play with it, I get a different result.
This is the result I got today.
