A commenter on an earlier entry in this side-challenge wondered if I was getting a crick in my neck from inspecting all those light standards up there. I was reminded of this one. Just park along the railing of Upper Market Street and aim the camera. No height adjustments needed.

Most of my Street Lighting images have been current; this is an almost digital art photo and is from my files. It occurs to me that I've been ignoring the web of power and other utility lines that keep our City alive. Indeed, in my own neighborhood such appurtenances to daily life are decently buried underground. But we have trolley wires, power poles, transformers and much, much more decorating our streets. Indeed, our light standards often do double and triple duty in this regard.
Here, in an industrial area of my City you can't miss 'em. I worked in this area for some 20 years and know the Bonanza well.
