Most of these images have been current; this is from my files. It occurs to me that I've been ignoring the web of power and other utility lines that keep our City alive. Indeed, in my own neighborhood such appurtenances to daily life are decently buried underground.

Here, in an industrial area of my City you can't miss 'em. I worked in this area for some 20 years and know the Bonanza well.

Higher and higher they go. Where will it end? Nobody knows. Oh yes, I guess they do.. underground.

I wonder if they perpetuate this system by having different levels of utility cable conduits underground as well?

I'm enjoying the slight bit of distortion in this image.

Nice to see all the poles and lines. Gives me a holiday feeling :) Except for the high voltage lines (and the train stuff), everything is buried here also. Just wondering in which year this photo was made. Could be this year, but it looks somewhat older.

The green wire is connected to the third pole and the third pole is connected to the 5th box and the...
OMW I'd not want to be the electrician that deciphers all of that horrid spaghetti. Any reason why the shot details are awol? Wide angle distortion emphasises those triffids but makes the cars look a bit stretched. It's not such a bad thing, it adds that feel to it that the Masai Woman have going on with their neck rings. Madness I tell you.
