I'm in. I don't care about score, I just hope the man himself likes it. Oh, and the most important thing, I like it.

Well, I entered, but not the one I was planning... this one will not win a ribbon, unless if I shoot the one in my mind MWHAHAHAAAAAAAA!

I'm not sure a ribbon is a worthy objective for this one. A voting distribution with highs on both ends and a dip in the middle would be the winner, I think.

Planned on going out today for this challenge. Rain got to the park before I did! Looks like it will pass pretty soon though so maybe I will be able to get something after the rain.

Can't wait to see what I can muster up! Lol.

My picks to win this thing are jmritz of course, and how awesome would that be.

jagar because he's a master of black and white and he's just too damn good not to be a favorite in this.

and paulbtlw because he's already done some stuff that is very jmritzy IMHO such as this masterpiece

and this

Back when "blur" was not in vogue, we did a little side challenge, and the spark of change set a new fire. John's photos have been very interestingly different since then.

Within a few days, the style was already being fine tuned.

I don't think his style blurry photos only though!

I am entering this challenge for the sole purpose of garnering a much coveted comment from bvy.

Without such, my heart will break into a million dainty sniffles and pouts!

Good Luck Everyone! ;-)

Aw... I have an entry, and I was really, really excited about it!!

But I just reread the description.

It fits 2 of the 3 qualities, but I missed the "create indecision and uncertainty" part. I like it, and it dances!

But I missed that middle part.

So... Hopefully someone will be rendered indecisive and uncertain by it. :)

Hmmmmm...I'm having title troubles...;-/

I deliberated over one title for three days, finally thought of something ... and now I'm probably going back to my other entry. OR.... maybe not.

Haha the challenge certainly created a lot the qualities called for in the challenge description! I have 3 possibilities, changing my mind from one moment to the next. When voting is over I will still be on one of the last few pages like always. But oooo I look forward to voting/commenting!
05/22/2012 12:55:40 PM · #121

Those three criteria?
"Speaks to the artist." Yeah, it's jabbering away like crazy.
"Indecision & Uncertainty in viewer." Hmmm, should I give this a one or a two.
"Dances like a jmritz." Uh, I dunno. Does jmritz step on toes when he dances?

I originally shot for this challenge with a specific picture in mind, but a shot from a later shoot just "speaks" to me more.
I am walking a fine line between really trying to get the perfect title and over thinking the hell out of it.

We should have a challenge that requires the titles to be blank. Too much emphasis is put on those darn titles.

I think it would be very easy option to allow voters to choose not to see titles and also allow participants to not show their title until after the voting it over.

Make it optional (I'd prefer non-optional personally).
