I wouldn't mind some feedback if anyone feels like commenting. I'm pretty sure the picture is plain ol boring, but more insight would be nice.

Well he's right, but we also get over it. Depends on what those comments and scores are. I had a pleasant exchange with a member today that got one of my semi-famous "jpeg compression" comments when I was voting. They ended up sending me a couple of outtakes from the same session to see how I would edit it. They actually had some very good shots to work from but don't know a lot about post processing. It was productive and I enjoyed it. Hope it was equally useful to them.

As long as the person offering is either not voting in the challenge at all, or agrees not to change their vote. |

yup.
I was concerned about this a while ago and asked the site council about it and they said it was fine provided votes do not change and the info stays only in the message thread

I've done this a few times. Usually, the member has finished voting the challenge and is offering more feedback to those that desire it. When I do this, the deal is that I will not change my vote, but I will explain why I gave that vote.

@ Crowis - you should go back and look at the first entry of the site's golden children. I cannot tell you how much I feel I have grown in both my shooting and my editing, as a result of participating on this site. If you have not already entered some side challenges, that is where the real growth (and fun) happens.
@ Deb - I concur. Awesome challenge. Even if my "no" comments got deleted. |

The comments are still there, yes. But if you click on his name the user's account has been deleted.
It's actually sorta annoying. It screwed with my received comments on my profile--

Mine̢۪s a sub 5 (was heading for a sub 4 at one stage) but I̢۪m not embarrassed as I̢۪m proud of what I produced. I̢۪m also not surprised or disappointed at the voter̢۪s reaction. Thanks  NiallOTuama for your wonderful comment and suggestions. |
