These votes don't make sense...I feel insulted with the score I have been given. I may not have the best image in the pot, but I feel confident that my image is good. My image is much better then the score I'm stuck with. I feel like I'm being jiped.....

Just got the most bizarre comment I've ever had.... And not in a good way. My score took a hit too.
Still doing OK though:

| Mine too. It's disheartening. But the way I figure it my DP score is secondary to whether I love my picture and in this challenge I love my picture. Does it appeal to the masses, apparently not, but I'm happy with it. |

| F*ck the posting curse, I'm already cursed. Started strong with an 8 last night and have dropped down to a 5.6. I have three comments and a fav!! The last comment is another bizarre one-word comment. I checked the profile - 100 comments made- 8 were checked as helpful. That splains a bit. |

Does it take that many views to give me a "1"?
My take on these voters:
"Let me see. I've looked at it 5 times and I still think it deserves a one. However, it meets the challenge, it is in BW, there are shades of gray, and ohh, shadows too. It's not over processed and seems fairly sharp. I guess I just don't like the subject.
Should I leave a comment as to why I gave it a one? Nawwww, he'll figure it out. Now, back to drinking my tea and reading the paper."

Sad commentary on the times. Personally doing well in this challenge (for me--and that is really all that matters). I find it amusing that Trolling has become such an obvious issue on this site. However, I think the update button, and these threads do nothing but encourage it. However, as I am obviously posting, I enjoy the threads just as much as everyone else.
I view DPC like golf. If I am doing well against my own work as a whole, and improving, then I don't worry about what my photo "deserves". Not that I haven't been surprised by a low score or two, but that just means there is something I am not yet seeing in an artistic sense.
