I'd actually uploaded this one to the FS, and feedback suggests it would have done reasonably well, but the day before rollover, I decided to go with the riskier, quirky shot. I'm glad I made the switch. |

Outake
I couldn't decide which one I liked more for a while and was starting to think too much about which one would get the higher vote. That was the wrong approach I realised and when back and picked the one I personally liked more. It suffered in the voting but I'm fine with that :-)

Outtake - Photo from my cellphone. I had this in for awhile, but then when it came down to it I wasn't sure if my EXIF would be clean. I chickened out.

What I entered.
What I didn't enter. I figured the PP was too much for a FS.

I put this in August WOTEVER after I decided not to use it for FS.

my final entry was actually my first entry, then i change it to my outtake entry, but was advised that it wouldn't probably pass the verification criteria if someone asks for it to be verified. anyhow, my entry was a top 10 and a new PB.

Don't know if I was intending on submitting it, but this was edited for the apocalyptic feel.
Entry:
Would have called it "apocalypse shift" as a play on the "graveyard shift" or something.

I like the BW version much more, but perhaps I'm thinking in BW because of the recent challenges... |
