My second worst score ever! 4.4
My interpretation of Zen apparently "DNMC" from the 2 comments I received. I hadn't entered anything in a long time and thought I had a decent photo. Oh well...I'll meditate on this until the negative feelings dissolve away... om...om... :)

I'm putting a lot of the scores down to tactical voting. I guarantee that if people's voting patterns before the DPL and during it were analysed, there would be a lot of red faces.
I mean c'mon people, play fair - it's just a game! |

I do not vote during DPL WPO or other team events, not because I couldn't vote fair but simply because I do not want that feeling of "Im getting trashed soooo...." call me a coward but Im enjoying it.
I have noticed a little twist in voting but to be honest I think the voting has been dodgy for longer than since DPL started.
Anyway, Im just sitting below a 6 so I'm delighted

| I haven't voted in any of the DPL challenges yet and I'm not sure I will, but I will say the scores are discouraging to this newby. These are the best images I've submitted (not too difficult to achieve that), and they're doing far worse than my previous inferior submissions. If I had a longer track record it wouldn't matter, but I was hoping to build on where I've started and while I think my entries have, my scores are going backwards, and that leaves a pretty sour taste in my mouth in regard to DPL voting. |

| Well i also thought i had a reasonably good photo this time around but as i have had mainly very low vote's and one ten apparently its not so good, the person who give me a ten also left me a very nice comment, i applaud that person with one hand. Could someone explain why this dpl thing would change the voting pattern, do people in a team know what the other team members have entered ?. |

Teams can't vote on team members' entries. They are treated like your own. They are placed at the end of the challenge thumbnails in the same place as your own photo and are impossible to vote on, so that's not a problem.
IF there is underhanded voting going on, it's by people that are simply voting everything lower than they usually would. My hope, however, is that voting patterns are being carefully monitored for any real changes or trends both pre-DPL and during DPL to find and put a stop to any such types of voting trends, if they actually exist.
Personally, I'm getting absolutely hammered on a shot that I'm honestly shocked is getting hammered that hard. I kind of believed I had a finger on the pulse of this place, and while I'm not at 6.5+ shooter, I'm not a 4.5- shooter either, so I don't know what gives.
