Thank you Juliet. That was much appreciated. You must be feeling better now. Like to guess what this is and how it was done?

Thanks for your comment, and I'm glad that you managed a laugh, even if it was drug induced. This is my second attempt at creating a panorama, and there was a lot that I learnt in the process, and really appreciate your input, which will hopefully save me some angst in the next exciting episode of creating panoramas....
....sent you a PM.

SOrry, but I am not getting PM's again, cos Comcast is begin stupid again.

This has happened before and Landon had to do some twiddly bits with them

Thanks again Juliet.....but I fooled ya.
There was no camera shake at all. This was taken at an OMNI theater at a showing of "The Nutcracker". The "shake" is caused by the different positions of the projectors. See the Nutcracker laying on the ice? I hope you find it more interesting by knowing what it is. I like it though and I guess that is what matters. Thanks

Oh... I thought you were on drugs because of the accident... or do I have my mind messed up? I sounded uncaring before, and I didn't mean to.

I've done the first, but not the second. Combining them both with some high BP and I'm sure you need the drugs.

Anyway, there's no point in worrying until the doctors tell you there's something to worry about.

In the meantime, enjoy the drugs. ;)

Not on my account, though I'm sorry to disappoint you by noting it is a big stick (well, tree trunk) -- though I'm still amazed that I didn't see the "alternate" (inverse) view of this image until someone else pointed it out to me; I'm usually quite imaginative in that way ...

Here's one which may challenge your skills at dispassionate analysis ... ;-)

You could comment me if you like. I only have two photos, it'd be nice if you could do the most recent one. :D

I always find in my camera bag, pik axes, chainsaws, couple of TNTs, just in case mother nature is blocking the perfect view

I would like to know your opinion of this:

It started life as nothing more than a mistake.

I'd be interested in your comments on this. My favourite from my first week of blurry lensbaby dizziness...

Just looked at some old challenge entries, this is the oldest one without a comment (except my own, but that was a long, long time ago)

It would be nice to have a comment on this one

If we are putting some brown ribbon shots up, I would like your opinion of this one.

I barely missed the brown, maybe next time.
07/25/2009 02:42:36 PM · #97
this wasnt meant to be about brown shots at all, I mean if it got the brown then it is pretty crap to start off with

Now, you know that's not necessarily true ... though I guess it is for this one. ;-)

Browns just have a lot of improvement needed and could really benefit from an honest critique. Too many people sugar coat the comments on a horrible image. I would like to know if I had my head up my a** or if it didn't score well because it wasn't shot in a DPC approved style.

just a roung play, you light is behind your subject which is getting shot at by sun bubbles, there are no details in your shot, i thought he was pruning something but lightened up he was holding an umbrella. There was a ton of grain in it which is hard to work with
