Silhouette of a (possibly dead) tree which has had most of its limbs trimmed off. Shot out the passenger-side window while I was waiting at a traffic light, shooting over the roof of a building.

I used my handy flip/twist LCD screen to frame the image, which was behind me to the right.

well it is either two of the ugliest out of focus people attempting to have a snog (English for French kiss)(but with maybe more slobber) or a stick. I am hoping for the two ugly people cos the stick option would be a worse choice.

even teh original is out of focus and kinda looks like a reindeer standing up.

Go for the two people, more interesting concept, Art Nuvo thingy going on with it that way. Add some sutble plae pinks and you could also sell this for several zeros

It's a real shame this rated so low as it's quite beautiful.
Sure it's not the usual winning formula but well done for submitting something so different from everything else. My hat goes off to you.

I immediately thought of the vase picture or two people kissing, but I see someone beat me to that observation. I like your use of complementary colors of the yellow and blue as well. You are having fun with this one! ;-)

I'm so mad at myself for not finishing voting. I was going to give this a 7 or 8 when I got to it if it appealed to me as much as the thumb did. I sowwy :(

Oh my gosh, yes! (yes that it looks like two people kissing, not yes you're weird, lol)

I think this is magical Paul. Great work. Congrats??

Yes, thanks to both of you -- I saw it after it was pointed out; it's quite similar to the classic vase/faces optical illusion.

umm, sorry, but this just isn't happening for me. It just looks like you forgot to focus.

I'm all for blur and OOF, Lensbabies and pinholes. This one has a nice form, but I find myself wanting more for some reason.

The title goes well with the photo. But personally, I didn't like everything blur here. It hurts my eyes.

Looks like a dinosaur or a giraffe

Gives a sense of motion...

This will be grossly underrated. It's a study in shape and form rather than a "wow factor" image...and we both know how the voting population tends to go.

Neat abstract, unfortunately abstracts don't usually go over well w/ the voters, believe me, I know!
