We used to use the subteams to compete within Team Suck for our own ribbons. The winning team got to vote on OOBIEs, but that isn't a regular feature anymore. Since we're not all that big on how others scored our images, there's little point to keeping our subteams (though I still have the list of who is on what team).
The Featured User (FU) is someone picked at random from that week's entrants. I announce the (un)lucky person on Tuesday, and people can send me questions or images from the FU's portfolio they'd like to learn more about. I email the "interview" on Thursday night (or so) and post results when I get them. |

WELCOME Candi to Team Suck I hope you enjoy the jocularity and the witty banter as well that you will encounter from the other team members. Now that we are in the process of abolishing
the sub teams(sniffs and wipes away tears) we can't have our usual "We want her, no We want her, no You take her,no You take her" discussion so I'll just say welcome aboard the boat, you
won't find many squirrels but the place is LOADED WITH NUTS :)
I leave you now with one parting thought, not all things that suck are bad :)

Snaffles Infamous Brownie Recipe
Brownie recipe (can be doubled)
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 eggs
1/2 cup margarine (or softened butter, if preferred)
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsps water OR substitute same amount of liquer, ie Bailey's, for Boozy Brownies
OPTIONAL 1/2 cup chopped nuts or similar foreign bodies
Sift sugar, cocoa and flour together into a bowl. Add all other ingredients and beat for at least 2 minutes (beater setting on medium seems best). Fold in any foreign bodies. Pour batter into a greased 8-inch pan. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes. Let cool, cut into squares and EAT!

Yeah, the doggie does look a little feldman-esque...I wouldn't recommend shooting him with a fisheye!
Ok off now to collect more sap...the 2 maples I am tapping this year have given me, to date, 21.5 GALLONS of sap and they only really began producing April 3rd. I give them loving pats and say thank you each time I collect. :-0 |
