Hey congrats Jorge.....What a great range of images....but why is the HDC mask over one of those images?

I was thinking the same thing. They must have put it under the nude category and changed it later. I think if you do that it will continue to have the HDC mask. I may be wrong but I think I remember someone mention that in the threads a while back. |

I don't have the nudity blocked on my options and yet that mask still shows!
Is this a new ruling....to hide it from everyone because nudity is so hideous?

I don't know the reasoning behind the block. I can understand the cover over the first one, not because of the nudity, I find it tasteful and art, but to keep it work safe and I'm guessing that is why DPC places the cover. |

I give up...the rulings on this site are becoming ridiculous...I am seriously wondering why I stay on this site....but that isn't what this thread is about. There are some awesome photographers on here...and I am glad to see them getting some recognition in things like this. You have done a fantastic job Scott...my hat off to you.

I don't have nudity blocked either but the photos are hidden .. what the heck?? More so there is a little girl in there with a bathing suit on (covering everything, very modest) and it's blocked! WTF??? |

Thanks, Scott! And thanks to whoever submitted a few of mine - I'm VERY honored and flattered!!
I also like how the selection shows a wonderful diversity of styles and subjects. Really a nice showcase of work from folks here! |

Congrats to the winner (although I wouldn't have picked it ;D).
Congrats to everyone else for being nominated! Some great work in there.
As for the nudity filter, I think that might be part of all the moving around and stuff they are doing right now getting the site ready for whatever it is they are getting the site ready for.
I wouldn't make too much out of it until some official word gets handed down. |

The reason they are not showing is because the link SDW used in his post labels the image as hidden.
If you use just image id #, they show up fine.

That still doesn't explain why even if they're under the hidden label, those of us that have opted out of the filter still see them filtered. We shouldn't. |

I have no idea. Maybe send a ticket to Langdon -- it could be a bug left over from recent moves.
There are no new rules, ridiculous or otherwise, that would cause this. I suspect it is just something buggy in the site. |

Those are some awesome photographs, well done for organising this Scott ... and to see one of my shots nominated is so cool :) |

This sort of puts to rest the notion that only "eye candy" images are appreciated by the DPC masses. I notice that many of these are photos that do not fall into that category (including the one that I nominated).
DPC, you make me proud. |

Ain't that the truth! Check out each image's thread, and you can see that most of them were recognized by one or more awards in the Posthumous thread. Way cool. |

Yep...she is in bathing suit. I am not sure why the "hidden due to content" is there. Maybe someday it can be removed. I am honored to have my image amongst the many great images. On a side note, I don't see the image that I nominated? Maybe I did it wrong? |

I'm curious. Who got to choose the winner? Was there a vote, or was it simply based on the number of nominations each photo received?
