Hey Judi I haven't voted yet but I've decided not to give any vote below 5 unless the image DNMC or is especially poor, as the damage that random 1, 2 and 3s have on your score are very annoying.

Me too....I think I gave out two 4 votes...nothing less.

Mine is sub-6 and falling, but I'm fine with that. It's something I did specifically for the FS - and that's not my usual methodology. There was something I'd been wanting to try, so I figured since I couldn't do it for any of this month's challenges, I'd do it for the FS. That said, there were some other shots I liked better and that may or may not have scored better, but I'm still pleased with the results of my project.

Sweat not the scores, folks. Just enjoy the pictures!

See...you should have used the one that I chose! :P

I am hanging in there with a decent score, but my 7 is now just a distant, faded memory....

I've been straight down the middle since it started. It's barely moved in either direction...

holding at a very respectable 6.0000.

No comments. Just 6.

Means it has a bit of eye candy, but not enough, and next to no "wow, I want to comment on this" factor. That's fine.

It's not a horrible start to the 2009 Marathon. I'm not really a DPC Free Study 7 scorer anyway, nor will I ever be outside the occasional Whoops, how'd I manage to photograph that? accident.

Plus my neck muscles are incredibly sore and tense.

That has nothing to do with anything.

I'm thinking of changing the name of The Free Study Comment Experiment to K10's Komment Korner.

It might be too Korny.

So, then we'll refer to the comment experiment as the KKK then?

hmm...that's strange. I have a much lower score than that and I think mine has too much eye candy and a high wow factor...as in "WOW this photo is sooooo bad!!!" I'm going to go on the limb and say this is a horrible start to the marathon! Damn where was my wife or girlfriend when i needed one?

And my neck muscles are really sore too...but i think that's because of me getting way too drunk the last two night and passing out in awkward positions...yep that has nothin to really do with anything also.
