Our little Scooter - LOVES to have his picture taken. Now if I could just keep him off the black backdrop - which is of course his favorite. |

IMO you might be the first one that posted in this thread and proved me wrong. Beautiful shot (on it's photgraphic merrit of course, the cat is most assuredly evil, just because it's a cat). :-P |

I am literally laughing... my husband thinks he is evil at times too. He is not a cat fan - but he allowed my sons to get one with the caveat that he not get up on the furniture or sleep on our bed. He isn't in love with the furniture (thankfully) much prefering to sleep on the steps in hopes that he'll trip him either going up or down and LOVES to sleep only on his side of the bed whenever he can sneak it in. Poor hubby - between the frogs (and their noisy crickets - I must remember to buy smaller less noisy ones) and the cat - our home is turning into quite the menagerie and he is feeling like Dr. Doolittle. |

Well I was never a cat person until I met the right cat and then a whole new world opened up ;)
Now I have Milly(not sure if it's permanently due to some family members)
(Please see full size) . She loves the camera.
A few shots for others

I just love cats. Some love the camera (they become a pain in the butt because they won't leave the studio area) whilst others run at the sight of a camera.
PLEASE NOTE: I have purposely hidden the thumbnail of a few of these images so as not to upset any body on this site as those images do show some form of nudity.

Originally posted by Jdroullard: I've only been around for a few weeks now (and I love it) but I have noticed an alarming trend. There are cats in every challenge. Not just one, sometimes three or four. No offense to all you feline fanatics out there, but I have yet to see a good picture of a cat. So I pose the question:
Are cats so evil that they can't be photgraphed well? |
Cats are very difficult to photograph. I have 6 cats and have entered photos of a few of them in challenges but none of them did well. I have yet to figure out why other than the fact that cats are good on calendars and in cat books and cute. But I doubt a cat image has ever won a ribbon. Maybe DPC should add a cats and dogs challenge. |

Have you ever tried to play with your cat in the snow? Fun times.

I thought about taking Scoot out but didn't. Perhaps for the next storm. Yours looks adequately irritated
