Amazing...after the first 20 votes my score was 6.2035 and just look at how much it has dropped now! Is this the normal type of thing here?

Yes this is why people talk so much about trolls, sadly in the last 3 votes I am down over .15, I have had a 1,1,2, for my last 3 votes. Best thing you can do is hope for the scrubber to catch them at the end. Good Luck to you.

Am thinking the pressure might be greater for you in the last 2 FSM challenges. I had a quick look and doubt you'll lose more than a place or 2 though the following bunch will be quite a bit closer. |

It used to be said that after 100 votes your score would not change much. That is no longer the case. :(
For some reason the trolls have taken to travelling in packs, much like mad dogs. ;) |

I am new here (3rd challenge) but already the fun of this forum is diminishing for me. I started off quite enthusiasticly and did lot's of voting and giving comments but it seems that it doesn't get reciprocated. I mean ...one comment?

I mean there's not much fun in it if you are left with the feeling that few here really care about your entry and dont bother to comment. Most are in it only for their own moment of glory it seems and it could be much more fun if people participated actively in commenting and voting fairly.

The comments one makes tend to benefit the commenter just as much if not more than the photographer receiving the comment. If the only reason for entering is the number of comments you receive then you will be disappointed every time. Concentrate on what you want to get out of the site and if you want more feedback after voting is finished then just ask for it after voting is finished. You will get much more feedback that way than during the voting period.

Very typical for a monday. I've gone from 5.64 to 5.59.
I dunno, I get the feeling too many people are getting too bored/fed up/cynical/upset/frustrated with this site in general. Perhaps it's just a trend that'll pass.
Mondays certainly are "grumpy voter" days though. I'm going to go put up 10 more comments, maybe it'll cheer up 10 people at least. lol. |

I am dropping as well. The funny thing is, it started out, with the first 10 votes, at a 6.0. Then I went to bed and woke up with a 7.2 at 40 votes. It has steadly dropped, with no rise again, in the last 60 votes. If it continues on this downward slope, it will end up below a 6.0. The two favorites help though!!

That's very similar to how my Wildlife III score went. I hit a 7.5 at one point, and then by the time the challenge was over, I was at a 6.3. It dropped steadily. After about 40 votes, I never saw a vote over 6 again. |

| mine is lying at around a 6.35. A new low. Didn't drop too much from yesterday it was at a 6.37. Hopefully the nice voters will come soon. |
