Perhaps they could Jury every other Free Study. That would be 6 a year and then there might be a little momentum and potential for some change or steady departure from the usual/perennial wining styles.
eta:I am a blabbing fanatic, to be precise but at the same time I DON'T really have a great eye for seeing. In other words, I can can almost never tell the difference between a tortured mess of an image and pure genius. I look to guys like goodman, sher, posthumous, melethia etc. to show me the light and then I go back and analyze.
I do however know exactly what I'm sick and tired of seeing...lol. Anything that's been done to death will usually get my angry vote. Originality, I weigh in the high 90% zone. In that, I could comfortably say I would never be a fair judge.
