Seriously, some people are big huge fat ribbon hogs and I for one think their cameras should be taken away.
Namely  IreneM and  timfythetoo
Can you think of anyone else who needs their cameras confiscated?

What *I* think is that DPCers need to be punished, not the photographers ;)

The real problem with this idea is that most of the DPCers needing punishment are the ones most looking forward to it! |

My ideas are too involved and impossible to implement. I'm trying to figure out the logistics of sending approximately 1000 people for reconditioning therapy. |

Well you pretty much got your wish. Saturday afternoon we dropped off the 30D to get repaired (shutter button failure). Estimated time in shop is 3-5 weeks. I am gonna die man! And on top of that all I just recieved my two new flashes in the mail. Dangit! |

So sorry about your camera Tim :( We will miss seeing you on the home page for 3 weeks. Maybe Irene can win the Blue AND the red to hold down the fort till you get back.

Purchase one of those throw away digital cameras?
It's not the equipment after all....it's the eye, the detail and the exacution.
Or you can just die I guess.

When my camera died (or rather I killed it by burying it in the sand) I rented a camera each week so I could continue shooting in the challenges. :)
(OK, so there might have also been a vacation or two in there also). |

Don't let him fool ya - he's got a couple of cameras available. Shoot, I bet he could chase a ribbon with that P&S he has listed in his profile!
Shannon ( scalvert) too! It's more than just a camera that keeps the ribbon winners at the top. |

Yeah, but your's are all so damn deserving, and they are all blue. Why don't you try for a yellow just to break things up! :-)
BTW...all of the people being mentioned here have homes in my favorites list, but this  was one of my first, and still tops in my book! |

| Methinks a more suitable punishment would be making them shoot entries with something like my ol' Samsung digimax...2.01mp!! Either that or revoke their Photoshop licenses ;-) |
