If you are using Photoshop you can adjust your preferences to record some or all of your editing steps as a text file -- search PS Help (or the DPC forums) for "Log" ...
You can also take notes with a pencil and the back of the envelope your utility bill comes in ... ;-) |
What and stifle my creativity!

(I did check out "log" in PS3, and came up with some 3d stuff and click counting - but I'll pursue it, GeneralE. If there's a painless way to keep track, I'm all for it) |

I might be able to pull a few off here and there.
"edit the crap out of them" category, for sure. Editing is not my strength nor my pleasure but every now and then...what the hell.

I need a little extra push so this will be one for me to get out and take more photos:-) I won't be able to do it every day or even every other day (to much of a perfectionist and fiddler before I come up with what I am happy with). Setting the schedule to be one every 4-5 days. |

Wow! You guys are on it! I had intended to start this on June 1'st, but I'll go ahead and start a posting thread! |

I think people are just posting old examples of what might be suitable ... |

For the June before and after, do you intend the before to be taken during June or can it be an older shot?
In either case, I am in. |

there you can set your things and you're good to go :) |

What "level" of editing do you want to allow -- "what is possible" is pretty broad ...
Original: Final:
I'm pretty sure there's at least one previous thread where people posted their "best" editing job -- unfortunately, my best is still this one I did more than 10 years ago ... :-(
I've also posted some step-by-step examples, such as this follow-up to my Dirty Windshield entry. Under the Learn menu, the "How'd They Do That?" area is full of good Post-Processing examples of all kinds. |
How dare you call her a pretty broad! :)

I guess there are two threads on this side challenge. Is that right?
If so, I am in for both.

Sorry to cause confusion! I went ahead and posted the "images" thread as so many people had already started posting images. My bad! This is my first attempt at setting something like this up. If you could see my face, I would definitely be blushing!
I'm checking both threads and adding new recruits to the images thread. Never fear, I'll get everyone.
Sorry again for the confusion!

I'm so confused. =^D
Count me in, it looks like fun.
This is the "talk about it" thread and the other is the "images" thread, correct? |

I'd like to join on in, please. Hiding head as she writes ... keeping in mind that I frequently drift off during a side challenge never to be seen or heard from again. Life frequently gets in the way of fun. |

Jake, you're doing fine. Just ask the people if they can just put the images in the other thread, make sure you stay on top of this thread though so you can see who all has joined and make sure you add a link to the other thread in your OP. Remind everyone that the challenge starts Jun 1st.
