Jan 22. A view across the fishing lake near us. In the distance is the malt works, although in this small size, it's not noticeable.

Another quick attempt at catching up... I'm taking photos each day, but finding the time to get them off the camera on on here is a little hard at the moment.
Day 17 -
Having a beer whilst waiting for my train home... masses of passing cars/buses!
Day 18 -
Brighton Pier. The photos in my camera from a couple of days later are better, a ship apparently lost heaps of wood, and it all washed up on the beach! Funny stuff.

I heard a hawk in the trees around my yard today, then the local free range chickens went into the panic mode. He had one of the little chicks for lunch, yuck. : P
So, to balance the yin and yang here, I turned around and snapped a shot of a butterfly from the same position. : )
Nature isn't always pretty, and we see a lot of shots of hawks that look so cool and nice, but they are raptors. That's just the way it works.
