 This is Town Hall in Winthrop. It's also the Sheriff's office, plus get this...it's an office for Homeland Security. There's a vistor's information office to the left with a cow scull above the doorway!

Too bad my tripod was not level. It as so high I could not see the level on the side to tell if it was even or not. I actually need a step stool. Now the building is leaning backwards.

I also think my settings were wrong on my camera, but I'm learning.

This makes me think of a Christmas scene. I love the warm colours.

This is a great Winthrop holiday card photo. Or postcard shot. The different colors and patterns around the lights are great accents. The snow partly down the roof is quite nice as well unless you have grumpy old men watering it down to fall on peoples heads later. Movie reference.

The lighting is great! It took me a second to even notice the lights from the car that went by. The colour of the sky and the way the moon looks reminds me of Van Gogh's Starry Night.

This is a perfectly lovely night shot. Nice detail on the building and the dark trees and deep blue sky are a nice background. The light on the flagpole's a little blown out but you can always crop that part and no one will be the wiser ;-)

The doors look crooked to me and the building appears to be leaning backwards.

Hey thanks for the kind offer Bassbone...I have the original Photoshop pro, but it's a huge thing and haven't bothered to put it on my laptop. I've been considering taking off all my music and various photos and using photoshop again. I could tilt this forward by using Photoshop couldn't I?

Thanks for liking this image. I'm loving night photography and Winthrop was made for that type of thing!

This one is awesome! The lighting is really warm and the streak of light from the car is pretty darn cool. I like how the lights are not blown out.

On the levelness of the photo - that is really easy to fix in photoshop! If you use it, send me a pm and I can walk you through how to make it level.
