At the zoo today. It counts for this challenge, as, not only do I seem to spend half of my waking hours there, but it's only a ten-minute drive away from our house (turn left out of the house, turn right, turn left and then turn right into the zoo). A bit of a departure for me, this shot, as I normally spend ages hanging around the big cat enclosures. Having a season ticket, I can drop in there any time I like and only spend five minutes there if all the animals are asleep.

Well......it's been nuts here the past couple of days. I got a chance to go to the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Friday evening and grabbed a few shots that are basically snapshots, but they do help tell a story so I'll just run 'em by you.....

Day 13th
Cheating a bit to be honest, today it was very gloomy and all the family caught a cold. This skyline shows the west end of the city it was taken from and 11th floor at a friend's flat. I lived there for a month and I can show you some nice pictures from that part of the city. The city centre is to the north. |

A glimpse into my Monday - Friday life. I have two cubicles at work. One downstairs in my department and one upstairs in the secure area. I work on secure testing material.
I usually start the day at the downstairs desk (shown here) and then sneak off upstairs to privacy and peace. Once upstairs I plug in the ipod and work away. Then I trudge on downstairs to finish off the day.

Day 13:
Gloomy the entire day, took a late afternoon walk by the pond. This is one of three marinas here in Sanford where you will find boats from small sail boats to yachts over 100 feet.
Pictures a bit dark but it̢۪s a good representation of our town. |

We have been away up the coast to our nieces 40th Birthday Party apending the time with my family who came to visit for three days. Back home again now. I have got some great photos to share with you all.

This was the only photo of general interest today. The other 300 or so were of a middle school soccer game with my grandson Robbie playing.
I severely over-processed it for effect and just because I could.
And a pelican, because it seems to be pelican day. This was another one from the recent sailing adventure.

sorry, but i should have been commenting on other ppl's photographs instead of processing this one ..
but for a change i've put in a photograph of where i actually live rather than dogs, macros and zoos .. :)

I am cheating today by using photos from yesterday. It was cloudy and rainy and I worked today. I love my work but I cannot take pictures if I am working.
