 This is the Hanalei River. It is amazingly beautiful and runs from the mountains to the ocean at Hanalei Bay. A great placid kayaking river except when it's rainy in the mountains and the trees come down the river.

Hanalei is a sleepy little hamlet on the North Shore of Kaua`i and is the home of the best surfing in Kaua`i, Hanalei Bay. The Hanalei Beach is amazing with it's Bay, ocean and if you turn around there are mountains and waterfalls, (if it's rained recently). I'll go to the beach tomorrow and see if it's a good day for photos.
