Five more from the boat run on the Gulf, and one a couple of miles from home on the river just after sunset. The lighthouse is in  dsray's backyard. I am catching up with the days off from work, and will be back to commenting again as soon as time allows. It was a great little boating trip, and it was good to have a couple of days of very high quality time with my son Robert.
As always, it was just too good of a trip to not share more than one a day. If you want to comment, please just pick one so as not to be burdened with comments.

been busy and didnt get a shot for yesterday. I shot this on the way to work this morning. I liked the sunrise reflecting on the building.
I will try and catch up on some commenting now. Looks like some great shots posted the last couple days |

This weekend I'm really going to work on catching up on commenting, I've fallen so far behind :(.
I had planned to get out and take a bunch of photos today, however got sidetracked with errands. I did manage to get one shot though.

Beautiful day today in Kilauea, HI. I live 1 mile from the lighthouse. There were whales and seabirds. Sorry no whale photos, I only have a 150mm. |

Close to my place there is a music hall called Bridgewater Hall. Maybe because of that you can find this motifs over one of the canal bridges.
BTW my building is the one you can see on the left. I tried to lie down as much as possible to avoid the buildings altogether but as usual it was wet so I wouldn't drop on my belly ;¬) |

Shot yesterday, but tomorrow is supposed to be gloomy again so I will post whatever I take today on the morrow. Probably. I should go out and do some yard work but will head to a park shortly instead. Why waste perfectly good sunlight on yard work? |

I went back to the tire shop. Had a long talk with the owner and he gave me access to take photos everywhere. |

This a view towards the O2 Arena (formerly the Millennium Dome) from the Billingsgate end of Canary Wharf in London's Docklands. I spend so much time at the Wharf that I feel as though I live there. It's only a three-quarters of an hour drive from home, so not too far. Started there early this morning (and, coincidentally, finished early, too). We'd just been in to McDonalds for a fatty breakfast and were feeling that all was well in the world.
