One of my wishes just came true:
Garth Tander, the only West Australian in the V8 Supercar field, just won the Australian V8 Championship. I have known and supported Garth for 10 years and he has finally cracked it.
But in terms of unfulfilled wishes, a bag full of L glass would be nice.

I dont really have any Holiday wishes for myself that arent already being filled. However I do have some free items that are photo related for whoever wants them. Only thing I ask is that you take one per person.
I have 3 sticks of DDR memory.
1. Kingston DDR400 512MB stick
2. Kingston DDR333 256MB stick
3. Samsung PC2100 256MB
Free to your door for the asking. Help photoshop run faster.
PLEASE make sure this is compatible with your computer before asking me to ship it to you. I can not tell you if this fits your PC you need to check with the motherboard manufacturer unless you know. Also remember even though your motherboard may support this speed and size sometimes mixing speeds will cause issues but not always.

I got an early Xmas gift in the mail, as my Canon EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM Lens is now in my capable hands.....
I am SO EXCITED, trembeling with fear, and sheer joy, all at once.
Now I have to get the courage to attach it to my camera, and take some photos.....
I always get kind of scared when I have to try out new things, but I am just so overjoyed, that my dream wish came true.....
Thanks to my cousin Marcus and Caroline..... You are the BEST and I thank you for giving me my phorographers dream wish for Xmas.....

I wish way too much sometimes.. .
~I wish to find a angel/investor/mentor that will help with my business and startup cost..
I have a business plan (rough draft is nearly finished for proof reading) to open a store in this great town I live in. This store will offer sports memorabilia, ball cards galore, sports gear, collectibles, gifts, plus a twist on marketing with customer service geared to the sports fans as well as athletics. A few of my idea I shared in a blog on ebay.
~ I wish ebay didn't put me on 30 days restricted no selling after my dad helped me pay my fees as well as he helped me to be able to ship out the rest of the items I owed to everyone.
~I wish to find a low cost ecommerce site as well as get started on my domain for my sports memorabilia store.
~ I wish to be able to lease part of the Canon Building with awesome show case shopping windows, located 100 N. Main Street in Fountain Inn the building was constructed around 1880 when the major planning of this small town got started. There are also 2 bedroom bath, kitchen, apartments on the second floor which would be awesome in the future as my this store will have the support from my family which they live out of state as well as some of my family that live near by that will be apart of the operating things in the store for customer services. The intire building has been restored and finished with nice wood floors through out. Get this, the lease for one business retail space at 806 sq ft will run less than $900 a month as well as a optional or negotiated 720 sq ft extra rates from $13 per sq ft if I need it.
There are other vacant store fronts on this main street as well probably like 4 more available so I have more options. Which this is not a ghost town like it sounds, the town is growing and has a wonderful community. For location access it is easy to get to from surrounding towns.
~ I wished I could find the missing power chord to my third light in the studio set I was able to buy used about a year ago, Medalight PG-4001 ML monolights, as well as have the extra hot shoe attachment that would make the lights go in sync when I shoot instead of using my on board flash that makes them do a funny automatic delayed flashing affect.
~ I also wish to help fill others here at dpc there wishes if I can which I have sent some messages out and if they accept the offers then any amount donated in spare change adds up so that I could ship the items out with in a week.
~ I wish to be able to budget my current finances better which as of now any money that comes through my hands are right back out again paying my bills and buying food. Therefore I hope that my kids will receive enough at christmas which I am sure they will as family, friends, and the community has never let us down.
~ I wish for everyone that can afford it, to visit Buy one for a child in America and give one to another child in poverty a country. One laptop per child program, and these laptops are pretty powerful as well as have a electricity free or I should say hand cranked power generator on them. So for $400 donation two kids on the opposite sides of the world will benefit from these unique new learning tools.
I told you I wish way to much..
O.K. Just one more..
Wishing everyone a very, very, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year that is prosperous as well as full of photographed cherished memories documented to last a life time and more...

I received a package today...no return address, no card, and the postmark was too smudged to read. The gift was a beautiful, sparkly fleur-de-lys keyring! To whomever sent it, thank you so very much! It's beautiful and I love it! *hugs*
Also, big hugs and smooches (again) to goodman, Louis, Jutilda, and L1. Your presents made my Christmas brighter but your friendship is the true gift and I am most thankful to you for that! |
