		i've had these in my portfolio for a while.  the first one was done with a textured layer.  the portraits were done with a PS action called "old photo" (or it might be "old film") that makes a similar look.

		Here's an interesting site dedicated to nothing but textures.  The "paint effects" is one to look at.

 If you don't like the colors you can just desaturate them in photoshop.

 So how do you "download" from this site? I just right clicked ( could'nt see any other way )and I found the size to be too small when I transformed it got really pixelated.It's a great site with heaps of textures that I would love to use but only if i can resize them better. |

 I haven't been able to see them yet, Windows media player tried to play it but I only had sound and when I went to download I lost internet with a big storm here :(

 BTW: You will need XVid to play the first one (linky), this will also play the second one, which is encoded using DivX... |

 I did the same.  I clicked to get to where the texture filled the whole window and right clicked and copied it.  I was able to paste most of them into CS without any pixelation problems

		OMG!  this texture stuff is AMAZING.  I'm sitting here with my husband, the photoshop genius...and he showed me how to use textures!  I can't wait to start playing. These are so amazing, everyone.  I'm loving it.
