Still fusing with the 100-400mm (Airshow in 4 days) definately don't have it down in dark situations (yet).
Day 7 - Buffy the TP Killer and her bag of nip.

(I just liked the colors on this one...too cluttered otherwise)

Gee, I love this place, and I was so pleased with this image as it looks exactly like this on that day, towards dusk.
It is already the 9th here in Australia, and couldn't wait to share it with you all.
A "slice of heaven" IMO.....

Contrast is remarkably lacking here. The original files have very narrow histograms which require a significant levels and/or curves adjustment to get any contrast, but it does somewhat amaze me that one can pull out of a picture what may not be readily apparent to the naked eye.
Original converted straight to jpeg, color with levels, curves, sharpening, then black and white, square crop.

OK, been a tough couple of days, but I was able to get out today and take some pictures of fall leaves.
I tried different crops and angles so some look kinda the same. I hope to get out more tomorrow and get some better ones. Now I am going to get commenting.

  Our grandson Dallin is 8 and love to play soccer. He had a game this evening so we went to cheer him on. He is #8, in the one photo and the blonde child in the middle of the other photo. His father, who is our son Chris, is the coach. He is good with children and a great soccer coach. I have never tried this type of photography before, I have a lot to learn. |

Outtakes from San Diego Wild Animal Park trip for "fauna" challenge. I accidentally had my camera on 800 ISO for all pictures today and yesterday. :-(
