It looks great on mine too. My monitor is nice and bright like it is supposed to be. Also, I think this photo is supposed to be a little dark, isn't it? That's part of its artfulness, and what gives it such a nice mood.

Day 5 - Leaf me alone!
I guess you poke fun at IT related stuff long enough and it gets even with you. It was one of those days.
This was from a smoke break while I was pacing back and forth.
Short story (It is actually worse than this)... Backup dbf corrupt and two weeks worth of BUs gone, a guy corrupts his acad dbf while we try to do a full to insure we got everything. Faulty tape on the full and the catalog was shot. Had to manually catalog a cart to recover the guy's file. IT guys will appreciate this one. What should be a 15 minute job took about 3 hours.
ED: I did get to use my new 100-400mm for this, something I've been wanting to do for this PAD but the wide works better for the humor shots.

Day 5
I have two sons as well. One is seven and suddenly became camera shy a few weeks ago. The other is nineteen and living in his own apartment, working and waiting to go to college an/or for the marine corp to call up his reserve unit.
Nicole doesn't seem to mind having her picture taken, so long as I don't make her look silly
There is an alternate pic, but you'll have to find it yourself as you search through my profile, leaving random comments of profound praise along the way...

Here is the link to Amazon for the tripod I have. I think it is a pretty good price for what I got. I know citymars was interested in the make and model. It is a Opteka 70" Full Size Professional Photo/Video Tripod.

I was going to do this - I need some good quality diversion time now and again. But I'm back in Kuwait, and since I really can't get off post very often (and when I do, most of that time is spent in a car going from one post to another), I think I'll just have to enjoy what the rest of you are doing - live vicariously.
Besides, I'm quite bummed I can't shoot then acidize my cats. I miss my cats.
