Savannah, Georgia. I love the S curve leading through in the light and how it still has the feel of the park I was in, while being about any park you could ever be in. It stops being a literal record about the place I was, but becomes something about the sense of that place.
Blur also happens to pull down the contrast on a bright sunny day. Shadows merge with highlights and the whole thing falls in to the camera's dynamic range.

Apparently Annig and I are in the same frame of mind. I certainly like her entry better. Spider webs are it!

In San Bernardino, California, the annual Route 66 Rendevous is taking place. I went last night and shot some cool pics of some of the cars cruising there. I love how they came out.
These were taken by panning and using slow shutter, 1/2 sec. There were some funky lights in town and I couldn't get the wb right. None-the-less I think they're cool. They'll be out cruzin' tonight too if anyone is in the area, check it out. |
