With the holiday season coming up in a few months, it would be fun to be able to have some greeting cards available in DPC Prints!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!

Thanks, but it's either a few months early or several months late! LOL

Currently, I can order post cards, but I'd sure like some greeting cards.

I would love to order greeting cards. I would also like to order other peoples prints on postcard and greeting cards.

Yes, I think this would be a real winner for holidays especially. Is this a possibility?

Sorry to bump this, but the photo could be on the front, and on the back would be the title and a web address for DPC PRints! Thats advertizing!

And we could order them by the dozen or by 20s--or other folks could order them, which would be the best.

Can we please do this? I want that snow picture with the evergreens by Sonifo, I love that one!

I've ordered Christmas cards through ShutterFly for the last couple of years... I design my card and enter the addresses I want them sent to, and they mail them. If DCPrints has a similiar service, I will definitely move my business here.

I ditto mygyl. I do the same every year too, and I'd gladly switch if I could...

That photo, Sonifo, from Winter is INSANELY AWESOME. WOW!

I'd love to see this ... not just for Christmas, but in general.

Bump.

As the first snow fell on our mountains yesterday, I can see just how close winter is!

Current options: 3 x 5 photos at $.32 each or 4 x 6 photos at 1.20 each. I'd love to have a greeting card option at $xx a dozen.

I would certainly make use of the greeting card option as well. Great idea!

Gordon,

I've been considering using iPads for both christmas gifts and cards this year. I found them through shutterline.com.

Here is how you can do it yourself:

Set up a Photoshop (or equivalent) document at 12 x 6 inches.

Put guides at 3 inches, and at 7.5 inches.

On the far right side, put the image for the front of the card, it should be 4.5 x 6 inches.

In the next 4.5 inches to the left of that, put the DPC logo or any other "back of card" items.

The leftmost 3 x 6 inches can be used as a fold-in of other photos, text message, etc., or it can be trimmed off and used for wallet photos, business cards, card for gift package, etc.

You should end up with a 4.5 x 6 folded card, which is close to the standard A6 card size, plus that 3 x 6 extra piece. For horizontal-format images, just set it up as a 6 x 12, and put the front image at the bottom.

You can order this as 6x12 panoramic prints, with a base price of $1.20.

All the options above sound good, and I'll probably use them, but I was hoping that DPCPrints could do them, so others would use my cards so I could make millions of dollars and retire early!

Hey I could do that too... and retire before I even start work!
