Below are 2 takes on the same image. I am in the process of selecting some shots to print for a portfolio, as well as to hang in the house.
The problem is, I like both of these, so I need a hand choosing which to proceed with. Thanks, I knew you could!

I like the color, but I might like the bw with a bit of postprocessing. I think the bw lacks in "black" and in contrast, smth more dramatic would be better.
just my opinion ...

The colour one for me. Tends to work better with the border also.

well the color does offer a lot but agree that the b/w has a lot of potential in it. I would especially like to see the sky worked on.
I hope you don't mind, I played with it a bit (I was bored). I'm certain I didn't get it totally right but it might be closer. I couldn't get the entire sky brighter without blowing out the clouds though.
(I will gladly remove it if you don't want it posted)

Thanks all for the input. I'm starting to see a trend here...
Scott, I don't mind at all someone taking a whack at what I've done. I had problems as well trying to work with that sky. Unfortunately, the shot was made while at work, and waiting for the light to be perfect is not always conducive to productivity. ;)

i like the color best, but would probably choose B&W for hanging on the wall.

The color. The B&W lacks interest in the clouds. |

Thanks again for the opinions. I printed both, and the colour one is definitely more interesting.
