Okay, I'm a bit embarrassed here. I started this challenge (as in, opened the thread), and did well up to day 18. Then I had to go away for a mere two days, but the prep for that, as well as the trip itself, got me behind. Then, because you are all so wonderful and prolific in your commenting, I was suddenly 100 comments behind "comments given/received" on my profile. I didn't want to post any images while I was so woefully behind, but I couldn't get caught up (life happens). And then you all kept commenting, and it got as bad as 200 comments behind. I was not a happy camper (this is a give and get thing for me, not a get and get more thing).
So, I commented the entire "Where's Waldo" challenge (149 images), and then came here and did every image from the 25th on until last night. My ratio is now respectable (more comments given than received), and I can post my images. Now my new dilemma: I am starting on Day 19. There is today and tomorrow left. How do I do this without posting 12 images at a time? Here's what I'll do. I'll post these four now; four more tomorrow morning (my time); and four more tomorrow evening, ending with day 30 (for which I'm being cheeky and posting two images, but at least they're related). Then I'll have completed, and on time.
So, my four for now are below. Please do not feel obligated to comment on all of them (or any of them, for that matter). It's a lot to comment on 12 images from one person in two days, so pick some, or pick none. I won't mind either way. It's been a great exercise for me to take shots of things I enjoy, and enjoy showing you and hoping you see what I see. Sorry this is so long; it's a side effect of my line of work . . .

Day 21 - Emergency Measures
Day 22 - Sign (with a story)
This has been great fun for me, and I so much appreciate all of your comments and suggestions!

OK, I'm way behind, tomorrow (today for some of you) is the last day of the month and I'll have to take some drastic measures to try to catch up. I'm doing simpler pictures tonight. I did some experimentation with reversing my 18-55 zoom and taking some super macro pictures. They didn't turn out bad, but exposure and focus are totally manual. I do have a couple of ideas for my last couple pictures if I get time. I did manage to get three pictures into voting this week, which is a record for me and as many as I had the whole rest of June.

30. The end
This has been a fascinating journey. It's made me notice the world immediately around me, try new ideas (both taking the shots and editing), introduced me to your worlds. Thank you all for your comments, encouragement and friendship! :))
