Got to work on this idea a bit more. Food colouring dropped into a glass. Need more light to get enough dof. Totally fascinating watching the different patterns flow with each drop.

I too thought it was milk being poured into a glass. I love the pattern the dye made in the water. the grain really works with this photo as well, nicely done abstract!

First I thought it was smoke, then i thought it was water being poured into a glass, and now this! Love the idea, im going to have to try this out tonight or somthing, with total idea credits to you my dear! But love the shapes and patterns of it, makes it totally abstract thinking! Good work!

Every part ordinary; the finished work? Anything but. Delightful. I love the thought and preparation that goes into these kinds of shots. Well done.

Perfectly stated. When I saw the thumbnail of this one I thought it was liquid just starting to be poured into an empty glass. Love the flow here. Wondering why you converted to b/w though... I think the color might be a nice touch? As much as I look forward to your animal shots, I'll take more like this too!
