Both are made by using CS3 Black and White transformation.

Just want to say thanks to everyone for the time you've spent looking and commenting on my photos. I've enjoyed looking at your images and learning from you as well, and getting to know you. Also, thanks for the comments on my other photos as well. It's been great! |

My weird Day 30

This has been a great experience and I've loved seeing the variety of shots everyone came up with. I plan to continue with comments, as I am woefully behind - I'm sure I'll miss some of you, but I will be visiting this pics over the next few weeks and try to catch up as much as I can. Day 30 Sad and Lonely
Another shot, different view, from the old abandoned house. Unfortunately it was full on sun, so the whole house did not do well photo-wise. Luckily, close-ups fared much better.

The end of the challenge. Thanks for letting me play, and having "easy rules" so that I could start late. I owe many, many comments. I will continue on commenting here, so please check your comments over the next couple of weeks.
Day 30 - Is she really two already?
I wasn't going to do this (include another picture of my daughter), but her second birthday is next week, and she's just so, well, her. So she was being cheeky this morning, and I had the camera out (which she loves), and got this shot. Was shooting at 800 because of low ambient light. I have real trouble with shadows on faces -- I have another shot I absolutely adore and can't do a thing with it :( Done whining :)
I also wanted to share this one; no comments necessary. It's just my favorite conversion, and it's dedicated here to all of you who've commented on my shots in this side challenge and helped and encouraged me on my conversions. I have work left to do, but this has helped a lot. For you all:
Final note: there is another side challenge next month, starting June 1: Ordinary Objects. Open to all and any :)

Tree House, Day 29...I include this past challenge entry as an update to those that commented on it, this Western Ok. Icon burned to the ground over the past weekend, I guess we'll never know how long it would have lasted...

Fire Valve, Day 30. I just want to express my deepest thanks to all that participated and commented in this challenge and I had no idea this would be so much fun!! I met some very cool people here and am in awe of and inspired by all of the wonderful photographs offered for our viewing pleasure!!! Thanks!!
