Love this grungy look and the curtains are a hoot - so pretty against the shambles. Awesome shot!! |

I love that abandonned house, think that you should take it on as a project in itself!!!
Another great shot ful of great tones, and sharpness that mean I can almost feel the flaking paint and rough wood
Lovely |

Such wonderful textures and tones; how does this thing stay up? It doesn't seem to be made of the same material for more than a few feet in any one direction. I would love to see what you could get with a lens baby on this, to undo some of the backward tilt I feel, but as is it just lends to the "this is about to fall down" feeling I get when viewing the whole image. Well shot! |

Oh yeah, as you may have noticed from own posts in this challenge I LOVE old run down decaying buildings, they have such stories to tell if you just look hard enough, and you obviously do. I love this shot with each window showing a different bit of the personality of the building. Great stuff!! Have you seen the work of Tillman Crane?? some very haunting and impressive stuff...Thank you so much for all the comments and encouragement during this challenge, I have enjoyed this 30 days of B&W to no end, as well as your images and everyone elses, there have been some just incredible images presented this month by all and this is what DPC is all about sharing and supporting each other...thanks!! You know there is a new 30 day challenge...Ordinary Objects...Hmmm... |

I was not expecting it to be so large of a home, with curtains all over. Very sad indeed. You take such wonderful photos, thanks for sharing! I've enjoyed getting to know you. It's always nice reading your comments! Take care! |

I love this! It's so interesting with the curtains on all the windows, like one time it was someone's castle. That always makes me wonder what happened, and what the story is behind the rugged looking house.
The textures in this are just amazing. This is such a great photo.

WOw! Look at all the textures and tones in this one. Fantastic! Every window is different! Makes you want to know the history of the house! A great choice for black and white. |

I just love old buildings. Especially in B/W. You have done this old building justice. Love the crisp lines and tones that you have achieved. I really enjoyed looking at your photos for the past 30 days and look forward to see more in other challenges. |
