OK so I started by inflicting you with a picture of one dodgy bloke so I thought I would end the same way!

Decided I needed to celebrate the end of the 30 day B&W challenge by playing a little dress up so I whipped on my Evening suit and bow tie!!!

Beleive it or not this was the best of a bad bunch!! I dont normally look quite so haggard but am still feeling the effects of jet lag (thats my excuse and I am sticking to it)

Thank you to everyone who has commented on my pics over the last 30 days, I have learnt so much and been so encouraged by the things that have been said and as I have said to a number of people it has been a pleasure and a priviledge

You did better than I did with the challenge - I just chose to disappear lol.

Great shot! Good focus and great contrasts. Your gaze just leaps out of the pic. I cannot believe you dressed up for the occasion lol.

What a fun shot, Jon! And thanks for dressing up for us. This has been such a good time and I've loved seeing your photos. Good luck with all your submissions and with DPL (obviously you'll need it - wink wink).

Jon - Great job on the B/W side challenge . The quality of your work was very consistent and you ended up giving us some very creative work. I enjoyed viewing your images, enjoyed your comments on my photos, and apologize that I didn't get around to commenting on as many as I wanted to - life got in the way.

Great job on this photo as well -I am awful with portraits and you did a great job capturing yourself.

great shot jon ... this is the sort'v angle/shot my daughter takes all the time on her mobile phone of her and her friends .. when i consider the fact that you were probably taking your own picture then the focus is excellent and i really love your expression .. i would've looked quite self-conscious taking my own picture ... and you dont look jet lagged at all .. in fact you're looking quite debonaire ... :)

You put on formal dress for our end-party?!? How nice. It's been a pleasure getting/giving comments with you and everyone else too.

I like the angle you shot at. Keep in touch.

What a fun and delightful shot! I like the whimsy of it. And the black and white is well done - pretty good detail for having extremes of both.

Great portrait shot, interesting ceiling angle. Nice lighting (not leaving any reflections on your glasses). Nice way to end.

This is really good. I feel very small, and you're peering over me. The tone and focus is perfect. I even like the "distracting" frame behind you for a bit of added angularity (is that a word?) Honestly, I'm glad it's over though. Love the bow tie and the glasses are very stylish.
