My guess is Vincent will dig them up. He pulled the blanket off of them, he may know they are alive.
So many great references in this episode:

Yeah, that Shannon and Boone thing, I thought that was great. I heard that in the episode "The Man From Tallahassee" when Locke was watching tv in his apartment he was watching "Expose", I'm gonna have to back and watch that. |

I wasn't sure the show was going to have the guts to go through with it.
On a lighter note, it's gotta suck to be paralyzed and then be able to open your eyes just in time to get a faceful of sand. Hope she wasn't wearing contacts...

i need to watch it again too... i wonder if the thing that won't stay burried is the two of them, or the diamonds... i also want to see if you can see those two in those scenes in the first two episodes...
i'm not sure why ben had felt they had to manipulate jack to do the surgery... if they know as much about the people as they claim i'm sure they could have come up with a humanitarian plea to jack as opposed to trying to manipulate him with force and fear.
btw, locke's dad is clearly gonna be the guy who conned sawyer's parents, right? |

yea i think anthony cooper is definately the original sawyer. i wonder if james ford sawyer will ever find this out..

You know why they just showed up right? Desmond went back in time...but this time did a few things slightly different. Have you seen Rose and her Husband lately?? I think Rose never got on the plane and Nikki and Palo took their place. When you change anything in the past it will have a ripple effect that you can never predict.
That's also why Sawyer has no idea who they are.

Also...sorry if this has ever been brought up but, go back to the first episode. Go to the scene where that guy gets "sucked" into the engine and it blows up. There are a few things that are very odd about that scene.
First he is standing still when he gets "sucked" in. The engine is going full throttle the entire time, correct?? Then why doesn't he get sucked in the moment he steps in that area.
This might help explain the above...also you might need to put this in slow motion, after you have seen it then look for it in real time. Look behind the guy standing there right before he gets "sucked" in...you see those things drift down and then seem to shove him in?? Watch it as much as you want...he doesn't budge until those things cross his path.
Last, when he has been shoved in the shot switches to a wider shot of the engine exploding. You should still have it in slow mode. Look in the right hand of the screen and you should see something flying down towards the engine. Also this can't be considered being sucked in because it is on the opposite side of the engine where it is blowing out. Well this thing flies right over top of the engine and the engine doesn't explode until that black thing is directly above it.
I watched it about 30 times...you do the same and tell me what you think. Is it the black smoke??
