| so what "three big mysteries" were revealed? the kids are alive, but we knew that already. the meaning of jack's tattoos? that wasn't what i would consider one of the big mysteries. where they live? they told us it wasn't on that second island, but we don't have any specific details about where they live (other than they have back yards)... i'm still watching eagerly, but at the same time we're being strung along. |

i honestly have never even noticed that Jack had tattoos...lol. and were jack and juliet both aboard the boat?

its just starting for me, its 9:00pm now, why is it an old episode? does the new one come on at 10?
edit: nvm just showing little bits from old ones
edit2: wtf ive seen this... why do they repeat?? If there gunna show reruns do it on a different days, i got work at 3am lol i wanna watch lost!

i don't know why they've started running last week's episode before the current week's episode. maybe because the plot line has become so convoluted they're afraid no one can keep up. :)

| No comments on the episode tonight? It was nice having a fun episode and getting away from all the drama. Next week looks pretty intense, with patchy and "the flame", I can't wait. |

I was a huge fan of LOST...but not too much anymore...
The commercials are literally 3 or 4 minutes long and they have a new set of commercials every 7 or 8 minutes. I think the shows are only about 39 minutes long with 21 minutes of commercials, and that's ridiculous.
They're probably trying to maximize their profits.
In all honesty, for the 39 minutes that they have the show on, there isn't really much being learned.
So what happened tonight in this 1-hour show?
Kate decided she was going to save jack and ask that one lady for help (who's daughter is alex)...and hurley found a truck and got it running...
Yeah, that could have been shown in 5 minutes time. Oh yeah I almost forgot, they showed more of hurley's bad luck, which we already knew about anyway.

I kinda watch it while playing computer games. Last week's episode stunk (they found a truck, whoop-dee-doo). This week's was a little better. At least something blew up. Ever since they captured Jack, Kate and Sawyer, the show has been on a steady decline.

This week's issue of TV Guide says that it has lost SOOO many viewers, and they don't know why...they think it's because of American Idol or something.
I can tell them why right now...too many damn commercials and because they cover 5 minutes (ok, at most 10 minutes some weeks) worth of show in an hours time. Not to mention the fact that the repeat-ridden second season started to lose the whole drama and drag on worse and worse throughout the whole season...and the third season was 4 episodes long with a 3 month break somewhere in the middle...of course you're losing viewers...duh

Why the time move? I would think that would further hurt viewership, and then they play last week's episode at 9 this week...so why bother? Just play this week's at 9 like they used to!
I too agree that things are moving slowly..and not at all. I missed the bit about the sub, but got it tonite so to me that's news. Not sure the deal on the communications hut, 'hostiles' and the chess game... I had figured the Others were some part of the Dharma Initiative, but this episode infers they are the hostiles, and they killed the DI folks...or was that just a way to further mislead us all?
And the bit about ping pong - why? how does that affect the plot or character development? I did enjoy sawyer's line 'and who are you anyway' to the un-named characters at the ping pong table.

I love the show but you nailed it deapee. '24' is a major hit in part because it guarantees that you will see an episode every single week until the season is over. Lost is a very complicated story with numerous characters and back stories galore to remember. This is part of the appeal but the producers need to realize that a 3 month break will kill interest in the story for the more casual viewers. By the time the series picks up again you've forgotten the details that make watching the show fun and you give up. They need to get a clue.
I don't watch much TV (2 shows LOST & Heroes pretty much) but this deal with the season being broken into multiple parts is for the birds. Fall = new episodes until summer which = reruns. A tried and true formula that shouldn't be messed with in my opinion.

| idk i still really like Lost but they need to move things along a LITTLE faster, They spent along time on just john, kate, and sawyer in the prison thing it just seems they try to drag some things on. I did like this episode though, next week's seems cool too. |

I'm with ya.
I can't believe Locke blew up the hut. What did he think was going to happen when he pushed 77? I think the season is finally starting to heat up. And it's about time!!!! |

I thought the episode was sorta weak. I'm not even going to mention all the silly lazy writing problems.
