I agree and that tunnel theory would be cool to see if it really exist and next week looks great also

but if they have a tunnel from island to island, why do they need the submarine??

#1) They have a submarine?
#2) If they do have/need a submarine, Maybe there is an underwater hatch?

But, they have a sub?

Juliet and Ben were talking a few episodes back and one of them said "The sub is back" when a group had returned from the main island (when they went to get Desmond's sail boat).

You can watch it online! For free.

You might have to wait until tomorrow, it doesn't seem to be posted yet.

seems like they did that a few times last season, too. the story is so involved now, i guess they feel it's a good idea to refresh everyone's memory.

this week's episode was great!

I agree. I recognized the women selling the ring from somewhere...did I just recognize the actor or was she in a role in Lost before?

So, I wonder if he really time-traveled, or just hit his head too hard.

She was in the Nicole Kidman movie "The Others"

:-)

*SPOILER*
Not to analyze a TV show too far for inconsistencies, but if Desmond had travelled back in time and was sorta living things over (with flashes of the fast-forwarded life), then how could he see Charlie's second death after he prevented the first? Wouldn't we be on a whole new timeline or something which he wouldn't have access too?

Anyway, once again, it often doesn't do to try to analyze the writing of a TV show too closely. Most of this is likely written by 23-year-old kids fresh out of college.

I'm wondering if the duration of time that he went back to was based somewhat on how many times he had punched in the code. (i.e. each code banked him 1 minute...like 10 times and he got 10minutes of a chance to change things...)

Well, when he saw the first almost-death like 8 hours in advance. He saw the second almost-death right on the spot; he didn't have any time to pre-plan.

Actually the head writer is 34, but your analysis of him isn't far off the mark. His main claim to fame before Lost was writing a comic book series.

Perhaps he was given the power to see future deaths like the lady. Not only has he predicted the deaths, but also knew what Locke was going to say in his speech.

My co-worker noticed that when Desmond was on the ground covered with paint, the paint can next to him said "futu" with the rest of the word painted over. Could it say future?

I may be wrong, but did anyone else notice that the paint on his face match the actual cuts and scrapes on his face?

And who's the hair stylist on the island, because Claire suddenly has bangs!

I loved this episode. It moves right up into my all-time two favorite episodes, right along with the first Locke episode in season one.

somewhere in this thread somebody stated the characters in the series die when they've dealt with their personal lifes.

Mr. Eko did a couple of episodes ago (remember? with his brother? he got caught by the island*, like most of the others that died), and now Charlie too. He's off drugs.. and stuff

I'd hate it when he'd die. I love him.

Oh and about Claires hair: her hair is cool :D she's beautiful. I believe they're cutting eachother's hair. Charlie's had a haircut too.

I like the fact that they've gone back to their island again. Allthough the story on the other island was cool too, this is the main-story in my opinion.

* remember the black "thing"? I really hope we're gonna get some info about that soon.
