Day 28 (II)
I had a really good time looking at everybody's pictures, will hopefully be getting caught up on some more comments. And I just wanted to thank everybody that commented on my pics!! I'd be interested in doing the PAW too, just to keep things up to date! :)

Great advice. I am in a slump right now too. The challenge certainly helped me appreciate where I live, but still in a slump with the camera. Looking to sell more photos to newspapers, which has kind of killed it for me lately. I got to get back to not worrying about trying to make this investment work for me. Yeh, it was a selfish indulgence to invest a few thousand into photo equipment, and the Yankee in me says that is really wrong. I just got to get with the program. I don't need to make money from this. I just need the creative flow and interaction with the world it brings to me. That should be enough reason to not feel guilty. |

By far, this was my favorite. Of course it was the first one, which is not usually how it works for me, but can't help it. I loved the shot as I composed it and I still love it.
This will be the approximate appearance of it when I get it framed. That is how much I love this pic. I am spending $120.00 to get it framed.

and thankyou shanny for suggesting this 30 day where you live project ... i take heaps of photographs anyway, but taking them for this has been a huge learning experience .... also its been a great way to connect with other ppl in dpc .. its been a blast ... :)

Shanny, what a stellar idea!!!
What say we do it again in July or August......even September so that those of us in the winter zone can share some of our seasonal beauty then as well?
I'd also like to say that I have enjoyed this project more than anything I have done at DPC so far because of getting to share where I live with you all and getting to know you all a little better because of it......and thanks to all of you who did share Where You Live!
I will miss this immensely!

One month to the day ... and I'm out of the hospital(s) and physical rehabilitation unit(s) and FINALLY back home.
I have to catch up on a lot of DPC stuff, but I wanted to immediately thank everyone for the tremendous support you all selflessly gave me during this time.
I'll be on a bit more later, still pretty tired now. But THANK YOU one and all!!!!

Jeanne!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so nice to see you back here again. I am so sorry you had to go thru such a terrible ordeal. You had alot of people praying for you and covering you with the love and best wishes for your recovery to come quickly and completely.
Can't wait to see you back at 100%!

I kinda crapped out on you guys after 25....sorry bout that, my ex wife is in the fighting mood again and i been in a weird mood (plus i was bummed about my free study entry)...let me know if anyone is gonna do another 30 day thingy.......
