Day 12.
From a week or two ago (same morning as "morning over cheswick green"). I was standing in a ditch taking this photo when a few cars/cyclists came past. I really should practise that "i'm not crazy, I'm just an amateur photog and I'll have you know I'm not in the slightest embarrassed" look.
Another one that could do with some editing I believe.
Day 13 coming up asap. Just gotta go out and shoot it! Might have to be a night shot or another recycled last-week shot.

Day 13 I had a shot in mind for today, but it is snowing and cold, so I am staying home! This is my desk where I do all my computing. I am working on a shot for High School Music, and my dog, Harley, follows me up and down the stairs as I go between my "studio" (the breakfast area at the moment) and my computer. He is a Gordon Setter mix, and we rescued him from the Humane Society when we first moved here in 2002. He was about a year old at the time. |

In 1776 the British forces had the Americans in bad shape, they had been forced out of New Jersey and were camped out in Pennsylvania. General George Washington faced the extra problem of possibly losing his troops due to their enlistment expiring soon. Desperation led to a brilliant military strategy. He crossed the ice filled Delaware River on Christmas night 1776. He targeted the Hessian held town of Trenton. While the Hessians were recovering from Christmas celebrations he attacked early December 26 and turned the tide of the revolution.
BTW, this is just about 5 miles away from home and often we use this bridge to cross the Delaware to get to PA and where I work.

The Cloud Factory.
I don't know what this building is but when I was driving by it looked like they were making clouds. When I was processing it, I noticed the "no smoking" sign. Thought that was kind of funny. |

I check all comments as helpful.
I figure if anyone takes the time to make a comment, they're giving me their impression, good, bad, or indifferent.
I may not like the comment, but I get something from them all.
I do know this......when I started getting votes and comments flooded in on my truck pic, I knew something was up 'cause they were all good.

I hope you guys like snowscapes 'cause I think the next few days are gonne be like that for me.
I have a night pic of the Capitol dome I may throw in to break up the snow pics, but about 8" has already been dumped since this morning and it's supposed to drop as much as two feet.
Oh.....I got a job finally......I've been out of work since two weeks before Thanksgiving.
Yay!!!
