 These are Elk on the Elk Refuge. I played with a little pp I dont know how I feel about it.

It may be a little bright, but I think I kinda like it that way. If you want to make it a little darker (and stop me if you already know this!) make a duplicate layer, then change the blending mode to multiply (if you're using Photoshop CS2). If you aren't using CS2, you can try using Levels to darken it a bit, but you might lose detial in the darker parts of the elk. Nice place you live!

Elk!!!!! My favorite! This makes me miss the Rocky Mountains. I love elk so much. I love this picture of them with the golden grasses and snow!

I agree abit to bright but I like allthe elk in the shot especially the first on looking at you.

Hi Emily,

On my computer this image is EXTREMELY bright, as is Day 12. I've looked through some of your recent uploads and some of them are lacking contrast too.

I'm wondering if your monitor is seeing them differently?

It may be that the brightness is your style - but thought it might be worth mentioning.

Lucky you have elk. We have deer, but they are always hiding so I rarely see one.
